About this event
The LEADx ICON Awards 2026 is the first edition of a national recognition programme by LEADx Pakistan. It celebrates people who lead with purpose. Our awardees build ventures, teach and mentor, research and create, protect our culture and environment, and lift their communities. Through their work, they are shaping a better Pakistan.
The awards were created to put real achievement in the spotlight, especially work from Bahawalpur and South Punjab that too often goes unseen. This year we will recognise 15 awardees across 6 categories:
Leadership & Social Impact
Education, Research & Ideas
Entrepreneurship & Business
Innovation & Digital Technology
Culture, Creativity & Sustainability
Regional & Special Recognition
The highest honour is ICON of the Year.
Every nomination goes through a transparent, merit-only process:
Screening.
Shortlisting.
Verification.
Scoring out of 100 by an independent jury. Jury members declare any conflict of interest.
Payment never affects the result, and an award may stay vacant if no nominee meets the standard. Every awardee receives a QR-verified certificate and an official selection letter. Anyone can check their authenticity online.
Awardees will be honoured on stage at the ceremony on Sunday 13 December 2026 in Bahawalpur. There they will join speakers, founders, professionals and fellow changemakers for a day of recognition, networking and inspiration.
